Performance Rights
If you want to put on a performance of a play that's in copyright, whether you're a professional company, an amateur group or simply an individual, you will need to apply for a performing rights licence.
The rights holder to our publications are held by various people. To apply for performance rights, please contact us and we will put you in touch with the rights holder.
Amateur performing rights are mostly charged for on a simple per-performance basis. Professional royalties are usually calculated as a percentage of box-office revenue. This should be contractually agreed with the performing rights holder in advance.
